Description

Job Title: Retail Assistant Manager
Department: Retail

Responsibilities:
Basic duties include but are not limited to:

• Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the retail store

• Maintains employee work/vacation schedules to ensure staffing needs are met in accordance with company policy and guidelines

• Assigns employees to specific duties

• Directs workers preparing merchandise and displays

• Supervises employees engaged in, or performs, sales work, taking of inventories, reconciling cash with sales receipts, keeping operating records

• Ensures customer needs are met, complaints are resolved, and service is quick and efficient

• Ensure that all transactions are accurate and all policies are followed

• Monitors store procedures and resolves problems through collaboration with pertinent contacts/vendors.

• Responsible for all store inventory

• Perform retail sales persons duties when necessary

• Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements:
• 3 years of Retail supervisory/management experience managing 4 to 6 people
• Experience receiving and ordering merchandise
• Computer and cash register experience
• Willing to work flexible schedule

Education/Experience:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Associates degree or above preferred
